New features…
Here are some new items that have been added to InThrMa over the past few weeks:
Context Sensitive Help
All pages now have a help link in the top-right corner, just look for the [ help ] link
It will open a new panel with new, easy to navigate help contents just for that page.
Setback Programming Backup/Restore
New in Enterprise Edition is the ability to backup all of the Setback schedules and temperatures and also the ability to restore them to any thermostat at any time. Check it out!
Proliphix Time Sync
No more having to set, update and tweak the time on your thermostat. We do it for you every night (if it needs an update). This new feature is available on all editions of InThrMa and can be turned on or off on the ‘Manage Profiles’ page. By default it’s set to off.
Updated FAQ
A few more Questions and Answers – check it out.
Custom Programming for your Proliphix Thermostat
We’ve got a couple new features to check out..
In summary:
- Our NEW Custom Programming feature allows you to add:
- Custom Programs:
- Set a date and time to run the thermostat at a specific Setback Heat or Cool. The program will go into effect at the specified date, time and temperature/s. After the Custom Program ends the previously scheduled Proliphix program will resume. This feature takes advantage of the Program Hold feature on the Proliphix.
- Fan Runs:
- This will run the fan, if it is not already running, at the specified date and time for a specified duration.
- Anticipators:
- By default, Proliphix will turn the heating off 1 degree above the Setback Heat and in the case of A/C turn off the A/C 1 degree below the Setback Cool.
- The Anticipator programs monitor heating and cooling progress and will end cycles as close to the setpoint as possible.
- This results in better comfort but possibly greater system cycles.
- Chiller Resets:
- This will reset/recycle your AC upon chiller down-time. Do not use this unless you have chiller based cooling/AC.
Till next time,
Sam & Mark
